We are living in an era of rapid technological changes while facing many common crises. Living in the busy city, we once ignored importance of home and nature. However, the coronavirus epidemic this year makes many people rethink their lifestyle at home and relationship with the world.
Branch Rack is designed to be people’s companion at home when they read and think. It originated from my continued exploration of semi-tubes laminated by veneers. Through hands-on tests, the mass-produced metal tube was cut into halves and then deformed. The two halves are just like branches of natural trees supporting a space. Branch Rack not only carries books but also creates a wonderful corner at home with the bright colors and lively structures.
