Williams-Sonoma brand West Elm is launching a new expanded upholstery line in partnership with photographer William Wegman, who is best known for creating series of compositions involving dogs, primarily his own Weimaraners in various costumes and poses.
West Elm has several other partnerships that might be considered out-of-the-box, according to the company, namely its sustainability collaboration with fashion designer Eileen Fisher in 2020 and its most recent originally designed collection for Netflix’s new kids show Ada Twist, which will debut later this fall.
The new assortment with Wegman includes more than 400 upholstery options, spanning moody velvet hues and rich gem tones along with playful shades of mauve.
“Wegman brilliantly showcases the depth of these fabrics through his known style of featuring his Weimaraners, acting as the perfect muses and props to the range of upholstered seating,” according to the company.
West Elm is a global design company that creates original, modern, and affordable home decor, and curates a global selection of local, ethically sourced products available online and in more than 100 stores worldwide.
