COLUMBIA, Md. – Classic Brands has named Matthew Sibole as its new chief financial officer. In his new position, he will be a principal member of the executive leadership team for the bedding manufacturer and distributor.
Prior to joining Classic Brands, Sibole was vice president of finance for Apex Tool Group, a hand and power tool manufacturer. He also has held a number of finance, commercial and operations roles with Stanley Black & Decker, EnTrans International, General Electric, Schneider Election and IBM.
“After an extensive search, we’re pleased to have found a trusted partner in Matt,” said Scott Burger, Classic Brands’ CEO. “As our new CFO, Matt will oversee and streamline our financial processes as the company continues to move forward.”
Sibole reports to Burger.

Sibole succeeds Andrew Houen in the position.
